Race Format: Qualifying & Bump-Up Finals.

  • Junior SCT
  • PRO Nitro Buggy
  • Sportsman Nitro Buggy
  • Electric Buggy
  • Sportsman Electric Buggy
  • Electric Truggy
  • Nitro Truggy

CLUB Series Dates:

Round 1 – 12th June

Round 2 – 24th July

Round 3 – 18Th September

Round 4 – 23rd October

Race Schedule:

Saturday Practice

Track opens @ 08:00am – 12:00pm (Track closed for hour lunch break) re-opens from 13:00 – 16:00

15 minutes time slots allocated per class opens on the hour.

In the event there is no class cars on track, the next class will shift up, or if very few drivers they can combine similar class cars on track. Please respect that all class drivers should be afforded the same opportunity for practice and track time.

Sunday Race Day

Qualifying & Bump Up Finals

Qualifying:

  • Three x 6 Min Qualifying Rounds (Best 2 rounds RESULTS of 3 to count, if two qualifiers are run, the best single result will count. = Start position for Mains)

Bump – UP Finals:

Nitro Buggy – A Mains – 30Min Mains, – Sportsman & Lower Mains 20Mins.

Top two finishers of the lower mains bump up into the next main.

Nitro Truggy – 30Min Mains

Electric Buggy & Truggy – Double 8 Min Mains

Combined Time result of BOTH Races regardless of finishing position.  Tie Breaker is best single finishing position, if still a tie, – the best laps/time from highest finishing position.

SCT Classes – Double 8 Min Mains

Combined Time result of BOTH Races regardless of finishing position.  Tie Breaker is best single finishing position, if still a tie, – the best laps/time from highest finishing position.

(Entry dependant, we could adjust race times to accommodate the schedule for the day.)

SPEC TYRES

SPEC TYRES FOR BOTH NITRO & ELECTRIC BUGGY A-MAINS CLASSES

Spec Tyres will be available in at least two compounds, season dependant it is the driver’s choice to purchase the compound he wishes to race with.

If a driver races in lower mains and bumps up into the A Main, he will have to have spec tyres for the A Main race.

Drivers can pre order their rim colour choice, White, Yellow or Coral (Red). (All special orders must be confirmed at least 4 weeks prior to the event date.)

Spec tyres are only sold in sets of 4, and are factory pre-glued, they are not available un-mounted.

Spec Tyres may be run in any other classes however it’s not compulsory.

Event Scoring and Championship Points.

Live Time Scoring for all events

Qualifying Results: – Best 2 of 3, or best 1 of 2 rounds to count for mains starting position.

Top Qualifier in class: 1 Point towards final championship results.

Double Finals Results / Tie Breakers: – Electric classes combined results for the final result of the event.

Attendance Bonus points: 1 point after attending 5 events towards final championship results.

Class Points:

1st = 100, 2nd = 98, 3rd = 96, 4th = 95, 5th = 94, and descends in single points.

Championship Points

  • CLUB Series Points – 5 rounds – 4 to count (one throw away)

Event Awards

All Class Awards – 1st – 5th place.

Special Awards at events:

  • Junior Driver of the Day
  • Driver of the Day
  • PIT CREW of the Day

Year End Series Awards:

1st – 5th Awards in each Class

CANCELLATION – Weather Rule

Once a race has started the race schedule and it cannot be completed for any reason then driver and championship points will be awarded based on the current standings in the race if more than 60% has been completed, if 60% is not completed the final results will be the last completed race in the event, be that Super Pole or Qualifying race.

At least one qualifying race has been completed for points to be awarded for the event.
